Chris Thile, Mandolin and Edgar Meyer, Bass
Thursday, October 9 at 7:30pm
Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall
Looking out in awe of the beauty of Richardson Auditorium at his sold out Princeton debut last season, mandolinist Chris Thile exclaimed, "I've always wanted to perform in a castle" and coined the term "stouring" so he could stay put at Richardson and have audiences come to him.  Princeton University Concerts is thrilled to welcome him back, this time with celebrated bassist Edgar Meyer. The program for this special event will feature original music composed by the duo.  In his review of Chris Thile's concert last season, Philadelphia Inquirer critic David Patrick Stearns said, "the concert had older classical types, young students, and earthier rootsy types in adjacent seats.  We should all mingle like this more often."

Tickets are $40 General; $10 Students.  Available only at until September 2.
