MINDFULNESS & MUSIC,

We are so pleased to announce another collaboration with the Office of Religious Life.  The next event will take place on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 12:30pm in Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall.  Join the world-renowned  Takács String Quartet and Matthew Weiner, Associate Dean of the Office of Religious Life, for a half hour of guided meditation to live music of  Beethoven.  Stay after for a light lunch and a group conversation with the musicians about the experience of listenting to music mindfully.  This event is FREE and open to all.  No prior experience is needed and reservations are not necessary.  The Takács String Quartet will be in-residence at Princeton all this season. They are here to play the complete Cycle of Beethoven String Quartets over 6 concerts. In addition, there are several related events, like this one, that serve to deepen your engagement with these monumental works.  For a complete Beethoven String Quartet Cycle, click here.
